Cala Carbo

Cala Carbo, Ibiza

As well as a wonderful restaurant called Can Vincent, Cala Carbo has deep, crystal-clear water where it's easy to see colourful wrasse and large schools of mirror fish. It's very Spanish, with not a Union Jack in site, and only a couple of beer-bellies (including mine). There's also a cool scramble up the sandstone cliff onto a rocky headland with breathtaking views to Es Vesdra and the pirate tower above Atlantis.
